We are living in a world of comfort and abundance. Mindful food shopping requires enormous willpower especially when shopping is done in commercial supermarkets where the shelves are filled with not-so-healthy products. Awareness and education about processed foods and drinks will help in understanding their harmful effects on health.
Consuming commercial foods will increase the toxicity levels in the body. The detoxification process uses up a part of our Ki, and the more toxins we have, the more Ki will be used.
Your internal organs will be cleansed and maintained properly only through the consumption of precious Ki. Eating healthier will save your Ki for other processes including self-healing and energy maintenance.
Cultivation Process
Eliminate from your daily diet any food or drink products that contain harmful preservatives or additives of any kind.
Never go grocery shopping when you are hungry. Cook more and eat out less; this will give you more control over the food quality.
Choose raw ingredients over ready-made products, fresh foods over frozen foods.
Stop consuming fast food (or minimize the frequency)

For 30 days, consume only foods and drinks that don’t contain any preservatives/ additives and observe what happens to your body physically, emotionally and your overall energy. You may choose to include the practice in your day-to-day life.
