Workout the Intestines
The small intestine is an important element in the digestive process. This is the organ that transfers the nutrients into the blood. The functioning of the small intestine affects the entire digestive system. The large intestine is the last segment of digestion. It is the body part that holds all the residues resulting from digestion. It is important to sustain it energetically, to maintain our overall health.
Balancing Intestinal Energy – ‘Bear Palm’
This palm builds intestinal strength. The arm closer to the circle extends down, at the side of the body, palm facing down, level with the hip. The other arm curves over the head, palm facing up.
It is specially used to regulate the large intestine and small intestine meridians. Both the large intestine and the small intestine are used to absorb the nutrients ingested by the human body. The imbalance of Yin and Yang in the large and small intestines can cause malnutrition; nothing can effectively supplement the body’s nutritional needs. Symptoms: abdominal pain, bowel irritation, excessive abdominal gas, belching, anorexia, severe nausea, vomiting or intestinal dysfunction.
Direction: An equal number of steps in each direction (clockwise and anti-clockwise).
Breathing: Inhale when moving anti-clockwise. Exhale when moving clockwise.
Recommended Number of Steps: A minimum of 100 in each direction (with a total of 200 steps).
Excessive Intestinal Energy – ‘Bear Palm’
Symptoms: bloating, loose stools, abdominal pain, constipation, intestinal polyps, intestinal obstruction, intestinal spasms, intestinal tumors, colorectal cancer and rectal cancer.
The left palm is raised up in front of you, face-level, palm facing the center of the circle. The right palm is coiled behind your back, without touching the lower back, facing backwards (see image below). Both arms relaxed but firmly holding the posture.

Breathing: Exhale with every step.
Recommended Number of Steps: A minimum of 100.
Deficient Intestinal Energy – ‘Bear Palm’

Direction: Anti-Clockwise.
Breathing: Inhale with every step.
Recommended Number of Steps: A minimum of 100.
