The Purpose

The main purpose of our Meditation Club is to learn and practice the art of concentration and focus. Our practice has several levels of difficulty.

The 5 Thieves

We perceive the world through the five senses: see, hear, touch, smell and taste. During our practice we learn how to “play” with our perception and senses. The reason they are called thieves is because sometimes they grab our attention without our consent. Our time and energy are the most important resources we have; therefore, we want to avoid giving them away.

Emotional Triggers

The internal universe is one of emotions. Based on our experiences since birth, we form a set of beliefs, values and behaviors that dictate the rest of our lives. Processing them leads to freedom.

The Beginner’s Mind

Our practice has one ultimate goal in mind. Experiencing each day as it is, without being conditioned by the past (experiences) or future (expectations).

Membership Details

In order to become a member of our club, you must first complete our online course. This is to fast-track your understanding about what we do during the Wednesday sessions. Register here and start the Meditation Course.

Cost

We charge a fee of 10 BD per calendar month. We have a group practice every Wednesday at 7pm to 8pm. Doors are closing at 7:05pm; if you feel you will arrive late, please come next week. We do not want to interrupt the session. Thank you for understanding and respecting the others.
